Job summary

Johns Hopkins HealthCare LLC is hiring a Registered Dietitian at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The role collaborates with a cutting-edge healthcare team to promote wellness and manage nutrition needs, including enteral and therapeutic diets, for a diverse patient population.

This position offers a limited 20-hour day shift with weekend and on-call work, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (for RDN before Jan 2024).
• RDN credential after Jan 2024 requires a Master’s degree.
• Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist in Maryland or eligibility to apply prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide individualized care for diverse patients, including those needing enteral nutrition or therapeutic diets.
• Promote wellness and intervene in acute or chronic illness using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement nutrition plans and monitor patient outcomes.

The Registered Dietitian will work collaboratively with a cutting-edge healthcare team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness through evidence-based practices. This position involves assessment and individualized care for our diverse patient population, including patients requiring enteral nutrition and/or therapeutic diets, based on the patient's health care needs.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, if RDN credentialing was obtained prior to January 2024
• Individuals earning the RDN credential after January 2024 must hold a Master’s Degree
• A Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist with the State of Maryland or eligibility to apply for licensure before hire
• All levels of experience will be considered

Salary Range: Minimum 32.40/hour - Maximum 53.48/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
