Job summary

Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our care teams in Baltimore, MD. You will assess patients and provide individualized care, including those requiring enteral nutrition or therapeutic diets, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers a limited 20-hour day shift with weekend and on-call work, and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus as part of our competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; if RDN credentialing was obtained before Jan 2024.
• RDN credentialing after Jan 2024 requires a Master’s degree.
• Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist with Maryland state licensure or eligibility to apply before hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide individualized care for diverse patient population, including enteral nutrition and/or therapeutic diets.
• Collaborate with a cutting-edge healthcare team to promote wellness and manage acute or chronic illness via evidence-based practices.

The Registered Dietitian will work collaboratively with a cutting-edge healthcare team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness through evidence-based practices. This position involves assessment and individualized care for our diverse patient population, including patients requiring enteral nutrition and/or therapeutic diets, based on the patient's health care needs.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, if RDN credentialing was obtained prior to January 2024
• Individuals earning the RDN credential after January 2024 must hold a Master’s Degree
• A Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist with the State of Maryland or eligibility to apply for licensure before hire
• All levels of experience will be considered

Salary Range: Minimum 32.40/hour - Maximum 53.48/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
