Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. Denver is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead patient meal services in the hospital's Culinary Service department, overseeing daily operations, and implementing system‑level best practices to ensure timely, high‑quality meals.

In partnership with nursing, you will train staff in therapeutic diets, enforce provider orders, drive quality initiatives, manage regulatory compliance and food safety, and help deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management required.
• Registered Dietitian (CDR) certification required within 6 months of hire.
• ServSafe certification required by first day of work (where applicable) or within 90 days of hire if not current.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of patient meal services.
• Partner with nursing to educate and ensure guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate with frontline staff to follow provider diet orders.
• Implement clinical best practices to deliver care cost-effectively.
• Provide value-based leadership to build high-functioning teams.
• Oversee HR functions including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
• Ensure food safety standards and regulatory guidelines are met.
• Monitor quality and satisfaction scores; collaborate on improvement plans.
