Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to provide nutrition counseling and evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients across acuity levels at University Hospital, with routine rotation to Beaver Dam.

This 100% FTE, days position offers flexible start times between 7:00 am and 8:30 am, weekend/holiday rotation, and a strong benefits package including health and dental insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field (minimum).
• Master’s Degree in Nutrition or related field preferred.

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to:

• Serve as the patient’s nutrition advocate.
• Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients of varying acuity levels including manage...entation, per the nutrition related protocols.
• Maintain professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

Education

• Minimum - Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field
• Preferred - Master’s Degree in Nutrition or related field

Work Experience

• Minimum - One (1) year of clinical and nutrition related experience
• Preferred - Two (2) years of clinical and nutrition related experience

Licenses and Certifications

Minimum

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Certification/Licensure as required by the State of Wisconsin

Preferred

• Certified specialist as required for the position or ability to complete within the first two years of employment
• Maintain CPR certification
