Job summary

Hale Nani Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, part of the Volare Health family, in Honolulu, HI, seeks a Registered Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy for long-term care and rehabilitation residents. You’ll work within an interdisciplinary care team to improve nutritional outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field required.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required.
• 3+ years of experience in long-term care or related setting preferred.
• Strong clinical and administrative skills in Dietetics.
• Proven leadership and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Ensure nutritional services meet regulatory standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to monitor and adjust residents' nutrition and hydration plans.
• Support orientation and training for Nutrition Services managers.
• Provide expert consultation and in-service education on nutritional care.
