Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor. You will assess nutritional needs, develop interventions, and support quality of life for patients/residents. This is a non-exempt, hourly role working onsite.

Qualifications

• CDR exam passed or eligible and licensed or eligible per state requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to healthcare team and educate patients, residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for nutrition and dining services.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
