Job summary

Harvest Table Culinary Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian / Guest Experiences Manager for our higher education account in Hickory, NC. You will oversee nutritional analysis, menu development, and health education while driving marketing initiatives and guest engagement on campus.

You will collaborate with culinary teams, student services, and campus health services to promote healthy dining options and compliant nutrition labeling.

Qualifications

• Active registration and licensure by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Bachelor’s degree in food science, culinary arts, clinical nutrition, food and nutrition, or related area from a U.S. regionally-accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in nutritional counseling preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Experience creating and executing print & digital communications including social media and WordPress CMS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recipe development and menus for nutritional analysis.
• Collaborate with culinary teams on recipe creation based on nutrition guidelines.
• Analyze menus for nutrition adequacy and accurate measurements, instructions, and nutrition information.
• Develop menus/meal plans to meet nutrition guidelines per National Menu Labeling law and Harvest Table standards.
• Provide health education and counseling through on-campus programs and events.
• Develop and execute annual meal plan campaigns and presentations for various target groups.
• Coordinate with student services for meal plan exemptions and accommodations.
• Build relationships with clients, university departments, student groups, and community partners.
• Plan and implement marketing initiatives and promotional materials to enhance sales and guest experience.
• Manage Harvest Table social media channels, digital menus, email campaigns, and website; produce weekly reports.
