Qualifications

• Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Serve Safe certification.
• 1–2 years of management/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees purchase of food and supplies within budget to cover each meal.
• Provides guidance on diet planning, menu formulation, and service of regular/therapeutic diets.
• Ensures meals are nutritious, palatable, timely, and adhere to menus and diet orders.
• Interviews guests and family to obtain diet history.
• Completes the dietary portion of the clinical record in a timely, accurate manner.
• Participates in department head meetings and interdisciplinary care plan conferences.
