Job summary

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian for skilled care communities. You will visit onsite Monday-Friday during regular business hours, averaging about 16 hours per week, to ensure meals meet high nutritional standards and collaborate with the clinical team.

You will educate dining staff, contribute to policy development, and help maintain regulatory compliance while enjoying flexible scheduling, mentoring, and a supportive RD network.

Qualifications

• CDR credential required.
• State license required if mandated by state.
• 2 years of consulting experience preferred.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Improve lives of seniors by ensuring meals meet high nutritional standards.
• Work with the clinical team to monitor residents' nutritional needs.
• Provide nutrition education and contribute to policy development.
• Train and mentor dining managers and staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at local, state, and federal levels.
• Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
