Job summary
Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services at a long-term care facility. You will work closely with the care team to assess needs and optimize resident nutrition.
You will develop and document individualized care plans, provide education to residents, families, and staff, and ensure compliance with CMS and state regulations. Flexible schedules and competitive benefits are available.
Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
- Knowledge of state survey processes and nutrition care regulations (preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Compliance with vaccination policies as required by state/local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan in the EMR.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings and comorbidities.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
- Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.
