Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Registered Dietitian for our Benedictine New Brighton facility. You will assess patient nutrition needs, initiate interventions, and coordinate with the healthcare team to improve nutritional status and quality of life.

The role is non-exempt and paid hourly, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more. Requirements include CDR exam eligibility or completion, licensure, and ongoing CE credits.

Qualifications

• Requires passing national exam by CDR or eligibility per Academy guidelines.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, and consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures for dining services and nutrition.
• Participate in development and review of quality improvement programs.
