Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition or closely related field.
• Dietetic Registration Eligible; able to pass RD exam within one year of hire.
• Preferred: Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Technical, human relations, conceptual and management skills; apply dietetics principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition care for patients/clients at varying risk levels and document care plans.
• Coordinate nutrition care with physicians and other health care professionals.
• Develop and provide nutrition education programs in hospital and community settings; mentor students.
• Maintain records, reports, and statistics; track equipment and system training as needed.
• Proficient with electronic health records (EPIC) for documentation and care management.
