Qualifications

• B.S. in Foods and Nutrition or closely related field.
• Minimum: Dietetic Registration Eligible; must pass RD examination within one year of hire.
• Preferred: Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic, intermediate, or comprehensive nutritional care for patients; develop and document nutrition care plans.
• Coordinate nutrition care with other health care professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Develop nutrition education programs and serve as adjunct instructor for dietetic students.
• Maintain required records and assist with EPIC system documentation and training as needed.
• Support dietetics practice with monitoring of equipment and adherence to standards.
