Qualifications

• Prior clinical experience required.
• Knowledge of food preparation, food safety and sanitation.
• Experience teaching and counseling nutrition therapy.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
• Ability to take and record measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition counseling and care plans for a diverse population.
• Assess nutritional needs and develop nutrition plans of care.
• Screen and assess patients for nutritional risk.
• Deliver diet and food drug interaction instructions.
• Attend care conferences to address nutritional needs.
• Document nutritional needs of high-risk patients promptly.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in mandatory in-service meetings.
