Job summary

SLEEP RX LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in San Antonio, TX. You will perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop individualized care plans with MNT and nutrition support, and provide counseling to support weight management and chronic disease control.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, document care in the EHR, supervise interns, and educate patients on dietary modifications across geriatrics and long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential required.
• Experience in clinical nutrition, including MNT and weight management.
• Familiarity with regulations and diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional status, dietary needs, and health risks.
• Develop care plans with MNT, nutrition support, and tube feeding as needed.
• Provide nutrition counseling to motivate healthy lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate patient care.
• Document assessments and plans in the EHR accurately.
• Supervise interns or staff and ensure compliance with standards.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and adjust plans based on progress.
• Educate patients on dietary modifications for various care settings.
