Job summary

Southern NH Medical Center is seeking a per diem Clinical Dietitian to provide nutrition care for patients in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. You will review medical records, assess nutrition needs, educate patients, and collaborate with nursing, physicians, and staff.

The role requires NH licensure within 90 days, CDR registration, and an accredited dietetic internship. Per diem schedule, with opportunities for ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from an accredited program.
• AND-accredited dietetic internship required.
• Licensed in the State of New Hampshire as a Dietitian within 90 days of hire.
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes nutrition screening within established timeframe and conducts the nutrition assessment when warranted.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of metabolism and nutrition for specialized patient care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of food chemistry and macro/micronutrient composition for diet modifications.
• Participates with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide integrated, patient-focused care.
