Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center's Nutrition Department seeks a Clinical Dietitian to provide nutrition care, screen patients, assess needs, and educate on diet while collaborating with nursing, physicians and staff. You will tailor care to individual medical goals and support evidence-based nutrition planning.

You’ll apply knowledge of metabolism and food chemistry to adapt dietary programs for diverse populations and participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contributing to safe nutrition

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited program.
• AND accredited dietetic internship.
• License eligible; NH license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes nutrition screening within the established timeframe and conducts nutrition assessments when warranted.
• Maintains knowledge of metabolism and nutrition in relation to patient care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of food chemistry and macro/micronutrient composition for dietary changes.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient-focused care.
• Applies understanding of food production and service systems to ensure safe, nutritious meals.
