Job summary
River Valley Behavioral Health in Owensboro, KY seeks a Registered Dietitian to deliver clinical nutrition services in our behavioral health programs. The role includes nutritional assessments, care plan development, and collaboration with physicians and nurses to meet federal and state dietary guidelines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics.
- Licensed Registered Dietitian in Kentucky.
- Experience in clinical or behavioral health settings.
- Ability to perform nutritional assessments and develop care plans.
- Experience reviewing medical histories, laboratory results, and dietary needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct budgeting classes with residential homes.
- Assess nutritional needs of new admissions and long-term clients.
- Inspect kitchen and food storage areas.
- Provide input into food prep, service and storage to meet guidelines.
- Perform menu reviews and spread menus.
- Provide nutrition education and cooking classes for residents.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Foster collaboration among leadership and programs.
