Job summary

White Oak at North Grove is seeking a compassionate Registered Dietitian to impact residents’ lives within a 132-bed skilled nursing center in Spartanburg, SC. You will complete nutritional assessments, collaborate with staff, and guide care plans while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires an RD in good standing or exam-eligible, state licensure, and strong interpersonal skills. A generous benefits package and sign-on bonus support new team members.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in nutrition or dietetics from an accredited college/university.
• Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; RD in good standing or examination-eligible.
• Licensed by the state of practice; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial nutritional assessments and quarterly assessments per policies and federal/state guidelines.
• Liaises with corporate dietitian to formulate optimal nutritional care plans.
• Maintains frequent contact with residents, staff, and families to monitor nutrition status.
• Provides in-services related to nutritional care to dietary and facility staff.
• Assists administrator in formulating yearly dietary budget and manages resources within guidelines.
• Directs food service operation in the absence of the Diet Director.
