The successful candidate:
**Sign-on bonus of $5000
Hours: Monday - Friday with rotating weekend on-call shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
Job Summary:
The Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible for assessing nutritional status and providing appropriate medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and education to improve, maintain, or optimize nutritional status. Approximately 75% of the time will be spent in direct patient care in an outpatient setting
Key Responsibilities:
Assess nutritional status of patients.
Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and education.
Develop and implement nutrition care plans.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
Qualifications:
Education: Advanced degree in the field of nutrition (Preferred).
Experience: 0-3 years of clinical nutrition experience.
Licensure:
Registered Dietitian (RD).
State Licensure - May begin employment while applying for licensure and work for up to 6 months with supervision while the license application process is pending.
Certifications:
Ongoing maintenance of Continuing Education Units (CEU).
CPR/First Aid certified (Preferred).
Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO) (Preferred).
