Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Dietitian to oversee nutrition services across multiple facilities in California. The role ensures delivery of quality food service and nutritional care under the direction of facility leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a Registered Dietitian credential, with 2–3 years supervisory experience in a hospital or long-term care dietary setting. This role collaborates with an IDT to support positive care outcomes across the dietetic team.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietician credential and active state license.
• 2–3 years supervisory experience in hospital or long-term care dietary department desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance with food ordering, storage and preparation
• Recommend and make menu changes as needed with the Dietary Supervisors
• Monitor to ensure that safe food handling techniques are used and approrpiate procedures/practices are followed in the dietary setting
• Participate as part of an IDT team to ensure positive care outcomes
