Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. You will work with a dedicated team to positively impact residents' health and experiences.

The position offers $33.00 per hour for new graduates, with increases based on experience, plus a $3,500 retention bonus. Schedule is Monday–Friday with flexible options, and a range of benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State license/certification in good standing.
• Knowledge of state survey processes and nutrition regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• RD-Eligible or provisional licensure accepted in some locations.
• Ability to provide care across multiple sites if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutrition needs and document plans in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and develop and document the plan within the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves residents'/patients’ overall health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, and as desired.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. **
• Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• If multi-site registered dietitian, must have valid Driver's License
• RD-Eligible and provisional state licensure accepted in certain locations
