Job summary

Patapsco Healthcare is seeking a Registered Dietitian to support multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Baltimore area. The role emphasizes organizational skills and potential advancement into management, with flexible shifts and supportive leadership.

The RD will assess residents, provide diet education, participate in care planning, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high standards of nutrition care.

Qualifications

• Licensed dietitian with state licensure and CDR credentials.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview residents and families to complete nutritional assessments.
• Provide diet education to residents and families as needed.
• Attend care plan meetings with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Facilitate weight monitoring and report at weekly at-risk meetings.
• Assess and recommend nutrition interventions for wounds, tube feeding, and dialysis.

Registered Dietitian

Patapsco Healthcare is looking for a Registered Dietitian to fill a role in a skilled nursing facility setting for the Baltimore Area. Duties:

• Interview residents and/or families to complete nutritional assessments
• Provide diet education to residents and families as needed
• Attend care plan meetings to collaborate care with the resident, families, and the Interdisciplinary Team
• Facilitate weight processes, monitor for weight changes, and report at weekly at-risk meetings
• Assess and recommend nutrition interventions related to wounds, tube feeding, and dialysis

Requirements:

• Current state dietetic licensure
• CDR credentials
• Responsible and compassionate with outstanding organizational and communication skills
• Experience supervising kitchen staff in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred, but not required

Preferred Skills:Problem-solving skills, interest in a future management role, experience with Point, Click, Care platform.
