Job summary

Patapsco Healthcare in the Baltimore area is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a role in a skilled nursing facility setting. You will work across multiple facilities, participate in care planning, and help residents with nutrition assessments and interventions.

Ideal candidate will have current state licensure and CDR credentials, strong organizational and communication skills, and some supervisory experience. Flexible shifts and competitive benefits are offered.

• Responsible and compassionate with outstanding organizational and communication skills
• Experience supervising kitchen staff in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Interview residents and/or families to complete nutritional assessments
• Provide diet education to residents and families as needed
• Attend care plan meetings to collaborate care with the resident, families, and the Interdisciplinary Team
• Facilitate weight processes, monitor for weight changes, and report at weekly at-risk meetings
• Assess and recommend nutrition interventions related to wounds, tube feeding, and dialysis
