Job summary

Warren Barr Oak Lawn is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our compassionate, resident-focused team at a Gold Seal of Approval facility in Oak Lawn, IL.

As a Registered Dietitian you will deliver medical nutrition therapy, assess residents, document nutritional status, and provide culturally appropriate counseling, writing dietary orders as needed. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent required.
• State of Illinois Clinical Dietitian License required.
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a long-term care setting preferred.

As a Registered Dietitian you will assist our residents in reaching their nutritional and medical goals. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by providing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy, evaluating, monitoring, and documenting the nutritional status and needs of our residents, identifying and providing nutritional counselling to meet the cultural needs of our residents and writing dietary orders. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences or similar filed and a valid, unencumberedState of IllinoisClinical Dietitian License. One (1) year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a long term care environment required.
