TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their nutrition team in Nashville, TN. The RD will assess, plan, implement, and monitor patient nutrition care, collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes and ensure high-quality, patient-centered service.

The role emphasizes competency in the Nutrition Care Process, excellent patient/family communication, and adherence to hospital food service standards.

Qualifications

• RD/RDN registered dietitian/nutritionist credential.
• State license required within 30 days of start date.
• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene, and monitor patients using the Nutrition Care Process.
• Coordinate care with the health care team across the continuum.
• Provide quality food service in a sanitary environment for patients and staff.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered Dietitian

The TriStar Food & Nutrition Registered Dietitian will be an experienced and competent dietetic professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher who is responsible for the assessment, intervention implementation, and monitoring/evaluation of patients through the Nutrition Care Process. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.

What you will do in this role:

• You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served by his/her discipline.

• You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs

• You will demonstrate knowledge to assess, plan, and evaluate care in coordination with the health care team across the continuum

• You will provide quality food for all customers in a sanitary work environment

What qualifications you will need:

• (RD/RDN) Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist

• (RD-STATE) Registered Dietitian - State must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Bachelors Degree
