Job summary

HHS is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead our culinary team in Montgomery, AL. You will guide patients and staff on medical nutrition therapy, build relationships with physicians, and support patient satisfaction through evidence-based interventions.

The role starts at $68,000 annually, with a $3,000 RD sign-on bonus and additional benefits including CEUs, licensure support, and comprehensive health plans. Flexible coordination with inpatient and outpatient care is expected.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with CRD license and state licensure as required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
• Experience with medical nutrition therapy in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Ability to document assessments and care plans accurately in medical records

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions using evidence-based practices for inpatient and outpatient care
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
• Document assessment of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
• Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance
