Job summary

Apple Rehab is seeking a Temporary Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutritional care for residents in our CT facility. You will ensure compliance with Food Service regulations and collaborate with Dietary Managers, Nursing and Administrators.

The role involves participating in weekly At Risk meetings, monitoring weights and nutrition intake, and making diet recommendations. Grounded in a family-owned culture, we offer stable, supportive teamwork and potential for permanent placement

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with clinical and production experience in long term care setting.
• Certified by the State of Connecticut as a CD-N.
• Current knowledge of dietary practices, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines as they apply to long term care.
• Effective communication skills; oral and written.
• Self-motivated and flexible.
• Must demonstrate cooperation; team player approach.
• Must demonstrate patience, tact, enthusiasm, positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with vehicle.

Position: Temporary Registered Dietitian

Rate: $38+

Type: Full-Time Temporary position with the potential for permanent employment upon successful completion of the assignment.
