AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette seeks a PRN Dietitian to advise and counsel inpatients on food and nutrition. Assesses dietary needs and plans therapeutic diets based on health concerns, analyzes intervention effects, and collaborates with physicians, nurses, and therapists to improve patient outcomes.

The role oversees meal preparation and service for patients, ensuring dietary compliance with guidelines and regulations, and supervising dietary staff.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed Dietitian in state of practice.
• Continuing Education of minimum hours each year to sustain credentials.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilités

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking PRN Dietitian to Advise and Counsel inpatient on food and nutrition. Assesses dietary needs and plans therapeutic diets for inpatients based on patient’s current health concerns. Analyses effects of interventions. Collaborates with Physician, Nursing and therapists to improve patient outcomes. Oversees and implements preparation and service of meals for patients. in the hospital. Responsible for oversight of dietary staff and their performance as well as ensuring the dietary department is in compliance with company guidelines; state, federal and other governing bodies laws and regulations. Assures patients are consistently served diets as ordered following guidelines for meal times and meal temperatures.
