Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital – Clear Lake is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our inpatient nutrition team. You will assess dietary needs, plan therapeutic diets, and counsel patients to support their health goals.

You will collaborate with physicians, nursing and therapy staff to ensure meals meet medical orders, monitor patient responses, and oversee dietary staff in accordance with regulations. The role requires Texas licensure and strong communication with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Texas Hospital Requirement; licensed dietitian or provisional licensed dietitian per State Board.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Advise and counsel inpatient on food and nutrition.
• Assess dietary needs and plan therapeutic diets for inpatients.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and therapists to improve patient outcomes.
• Oversee preparation and service of meals for patients.

Clear Lake – AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian. The Dietitian advises and Counsels inpatient on food and nutrition. Assesses dietary needs and plans therapeutic diets for inpatients based on patient’s current health concerns. Analyses effects of interventions. Collaborates with Physician, Nursing and therapists to improve patient outcomes. Oversees and implements preparation and service of meals for patients. in the hospital. Responsible for oversight of dietary staff and their performance as well as ensuring the dietary department is in compliance with company guidelines; state, federal and other governing bodies laws and regulations. Assures patients are consistently served diets as ordered following guidelines for meal times and meal temperatures.

• Texas Hospital Requirement; Currently licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians as a licensed dietitian or provisional licensed dietitian, or who is a registered dietitian with the American Dietetic Association
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
