AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a PRN Dietitian to advise and counsel inpatient on food and nutrition. You will assess dietary needs and plan therapeutic diets, collaborating with physicians, nursing and therapists to improve patient outcomes.

You will oversee meal preparation and service, ensuring compliance with laws and company guidelines, and supervise dietary staff to maintain quality patient care in Lafayette, LA.

Qualifications

• Current Dietitian licensure in state of practice.
• Continuing Education of minimum hours every year to sustain credentials.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages are desirable.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Advise and counsel inpatient on food and nutrition.
• Assess dietary needs and plan therapeutic diets for inpatients.
• Collaborate with Physician, Nursing and therapists to improve patient outcomes.
• Oversee and implement preparation and service of meals for patients.
• Ensure dietary department complies with guidelines and regulations.
• Oversee dietary staff performance and ensure meals served as ordered.

Responsible for oversight ofdietary staff and their performance as well as ensuring the dietary departmentis in compliance with company guidelines; state, federal and other governingbodies laws and regulations. Assures patients are consistently serveddiets as ordered following guidelines for meal times and meal temperatures.
