Job Description

We’re seeking a friendly, compassionate leader to join our culinary team! The role involves guiding patients, families, and facility staff on all aspects of medical nutrition therapy to promote a healthy and healing environment. Building relationships with physicians and nursing staff is essential to support patient satisfaction and ensure nutritional needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Complete nutritional assessments for residents to develop care plans with specific nutritional goals.
  • Provide education to residents, families, nursing, food service staff, and community members regarding special diets and dining needs.
  • Document assessments, goals, and interventions in medical records.
  • Review and approve daily menus, snacks, and supplements for residents.
  • Communicate with physicians and clinical staff about residents’ nutritional status.
  • Participate in resident rounds and nutrition meetings; maintain clinical nutrition policies to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Proficiency with computer software including word processing and spreadsheets.
