Job summary

Health Systems Management, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our Dialysis Center team, covering Mocksville and Elkin, NC. This full-time split-position supports hemodialysis patients with strong nutrition guidance.

The RD will educate patients, conduct monthly assessments, round with physicians, and work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care. Flexibility in schedule is required; occasional remote work allowed; weekends not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Active dietitian licensure for the state.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical dietetics experience; ESRD patients preferred.
• Flexible schedule and availability to cover shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition education to hemodialysis patients.
• Complete monthly assessments and review labs with patients.
• Round with physicians weekly or as needed.
• Recommend vitamins, binders, and nutrition supplements.
• Monitor patient weights and adjust diet/fluid needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in QAPI.
• Engage in patient-centered education projects.

Full Time Position

Split position will cover both Davie Kidney Center - Mocksville, NC & Elkin Dialysis Center - Elkin, NC

We are currently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Registered Dietitians to join our Dialysis Center team.

Dietitian Responsibilities And Physical Demands

Provides nutrition education to hemodialysis patients. Completes monthly assessments and reviews labs with patients. Rounds with physicians on a weekly basis or as needed. Recommends vitamins, binders, and nutritional supplements. Works closely with interdisciplinary personnel to address nutritional and emotional needs of patients. Monitors patients’ weights, adjusting diet and fluid needs. Participates in QAPI, collaboration/teamwork with other Registered Dietitians. Patient-centered/education projects needed.

Dietitian Education Requirements And Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics required.
• Master’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics preferred.
• Active Dietitian licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1-year experience with clinical dietetics required (not to include internship); ESRD patients preferred.
• Must have flexible schedule.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.
