Position: Dietetics/Nutrition - Registered Dietitian - Nursing Home Surveyor | Complaint Investigator - New York, NY (#25143)

1. Minimum Requirements:
   • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a medical facility, preferably a nursing home
2. Job Overview:

   Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Dietitian - Nursing Home Surveyor | Complaint Investigator for a review company based in New York, NY.

3. Requirements:
   • Must have an NYS Registered Dietitian license
   • Must be a graduate of a registered professional dietitian program
   • A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred
   • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a medical facility, preferably a nursing home
   • Two (2) years of experience performing nursing home surveillance activities is preferred
   • SMQT Certification is preferred but can be obtained within 12 months of employment

5. Responsibilities:
   • Participate in surveys or complaint investigations, including allegations of abuse and neglect, and perform surveillance activities at nursing homes to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
   • Produce written documentation and draft a Statement of Deficiencies (SOD) within the required timeframe, using Principles of Documentation.
   • Assess compliance with the Plan of Correction within the required timeframe.
   • Complete data entry in federal and state reporting databases as required.
   • Participate in state monitoring during Immediate Jeopardy situations.
   • Attend meetings as required.
   • Testify in administrative hearings as needed.
   • Adhere to DOH work schedules and policies.
   • Travel to onsite locations as per work schedule.
