Job summary

Alsana in Carpinteria, CA seeks a Registered Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary treatment team supporting adults and adolescents with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions.

You will perform nutrition assessments, meal planning, and nutrition therapy across levels of care, collaborate with therapists, medical providers, chefs, and families, and lead nutrition education groups tailored to individual treatment goals, fostering trust and balance with food.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program and RD credential required.
• New graduates and newly credentialed RDs are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in eating disorders or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Passion for eating disorder nutrition care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nutrition assessments, meal planning, and nutrition therapy for clients.

• Facilitate nutrition education groups and support clients in rebuilding trust and balance with food and body
• Support movement and meal-related programming based on individualized treatment goals
• Provide ongoing nutrition education and support to clients and families
