Job summary

Complete Care Milford Manor in West Milford, NJ is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to lead dietary services for residents. The role focuses on assessing dietary needs, creating care plans, and coordinating with families to ensure individualized nutrition therapy.

The position requires NJ-licensed RD status and prior long-term care experience, including some administrative responsibility. It offers a supportive work environment, competitive wages, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Assist in developing preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the dietary needs of each resident.
• Assist in developing a written dietary plan of care that identifies the dietary problems/needs of the resident and the goals to be accomplished for each.
• Encourage the resident/family to participate in the development and review of the residents’ plan of care.
• Ensure that all dietary personnel are aware of the care plan and that care plans are used in planning daily dietary services for the resident.
• Ensure that the care plan identifies any special equipment and utensils the resident may need.
• Interpret and evaluate information on a patient’s chart and make recommendations for appropriate medical nutrition therapy.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary and comprehensive dietary assessments for residents.
• Draft written dietary plans of care with goals for each resident.
• Engage residents and families in care plan development and review.
• Ensure dietary staff follow the care plan in daily services.
• Identify equipment or utensils required by residents.
• Review patient charts and suggest medical nutrition therapy recommendations.
