Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services for Assisted Living Facilities across South and Central New Jersey. The role offers flexible, low-hour engagement with the option to support 1, 2, or all three facilities based on availability.

Each facility requires only 8 hours of on-site coverage per quarter, making it ideal to supplement an existing schedule.

Qualifications

• RDN credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (required).
• Current state licensure/certification, if applicable.
• Experience reviewing menus and conducting audits in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Comfortable using electronic documentation and menu systems.
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics at all times.
• Ability and willingness to travel to the selected facility location(s) on a quarterly basis.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve menus for regular and therapeutic diets to ensure compliance with nutrition standards.
• Conduct periodic kitchen audits to assess food service operations, sanitation, and safety practices.
• Identify residents at nutritional risk and complete periodic nutrition assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with facility staff to provide recommendations that enhance meal quality and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services for Assisted Living Facilities located throughout South and Central New Jersey .
