Job summary

CareOne is hiring a Registered Dietitian in Wayne, NJ to coordinate nutritional care for residents and patients in a long-term care setting. You will assess nutritional needs and participate in care planning with the care team.

You will provide counseling and education to residents and families, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards. NJ licensure and 1+ year in long-term care are expected, with proficient use of Nutrition Care Process and electronic charting.

Qualifications

• Must possess Registered Dietitian licensure within NJ.
• Experience with MDS 3.0 and nutrition care process preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $45-$50

The Registered Dietician will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments
• Participate in care planning meetings as required
• Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family
• Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards 5. Perform duties independently without training or direction

Position Requirements

• Must possess Registered Dietician licensure within the state of operations
• High comfort level with enteral nutrition
• At least one year of experience in a long-term care setting
• Experience with MDS 3.0
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience with electronic charting and the Nutrition Care Process preferred
• Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations
