Job summary

Waterville Residential in New York is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

You will perform nutrition assessments, develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families, advance quality initiatives, and mentor dietetic interns as applicable. RDN eligible or licensed in NY preferred; healthcare experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willingness to obtain) in the state of practice
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community

• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
