Position Summary

The Registered Dietitian ensures the district’s Child Nutrition Services program complies with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing school nutrition programs. This position provides professional dietetics expertise to support compliant menu development, medically required dietary accommodations, nutrition education initiatives, and operational consistency across school sites. The role partners with Child Nutrition Services leadership to maintain safe, accurate, and student-centered meal services while supporting regulatory compliance and program effectiveness across the district.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration, including completion of an ACEND-accredited internship and required continuing education
  • Master’s degree preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in K–12, institutional, or large-scale food service
  • Experience with automated food production systems and nutrition analysis software preferred
Licenses and Certifications
  • ServSafe certification and AllerTrain certification required within six (6) weeks of hire
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Oklahoma Food Handler’s permit
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
