Job summary

Prosperity Workforce Solutions in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Nutrition Services Manager (Registered Dietitian) for a full-time/permanent role to lead the Care Center Food & Beverage Operations, ensuring a quality dining experience and HACCP-compliant sanitation.

Responsibilities include conducting nutritional reviews, monitoring weights, developing and implementing dietary care plans, and consulting with physicians and other health-care staff to determine diet restrictions and nourishment needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of clinical nutrition experience.
• State certification in food service sanitation.
• Registered Dietitian credentialing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition; HACCP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing nutritional initial, quarterly, annual and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines.
• Reviewing monthly and weekly weights to determine residents with significant changes.
• Completing nutritional reviews monthly on high risk residents (significant weight loss/gain, pressure ulcers, hemodialysis, and tube feeding).
• Assessing nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary care plans and provide nutritional counseling as needed.
• Consulting with physicians and other health care personnel to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents.

Responsibilities

A desirable opportunity exists for a highly accomplished professional to assist in the managing of the community's Care Center Food and Beverage Operations to ensure a quality dining experience. This position works closely with community F&B staff to ensure sanitation and HACCP standards in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

Other responsibilities include but is not limited to:

• Completing nutritional initial, quarterly, annual and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines.
• Reviewing monthly and weekly weights to determine those residents which have had a significant change.
• Completing nutritional reviews monthly on high risk residents (significant weight loss/ gain, pressure ulcer, hemodialysis, and tube fed).
• Assessing nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans in order to develop and implement dietary care plans and provides nutritional counseling as needed.
• Consulting with physicians and other health care personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Dialysis Dietitians, etc.) to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants are required to possess a minimum 3 years of clinical nutrition experience.
• State certification in food service sanitation is required.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university is required. Knowledge of HACCP preferred.
