Job summary
Comfort Dental in New Hope, MN seeks a qualified Registered Dental Hygienist to join our compassionate team. You will screen patients, perform cleanings, and assist dentists with exams and procedures.
The ideal candidate is state-licensed with at least two years of experience and is friendly, outgoing, and dedicated to a superior patient experience. We offer a collaborative environment with ongoing training.
Qualifications
- State-licensed Registered Dental Hygienist.
- Minimum 2 years of dental hygiene experience.
- Associate’s Degree or higher in dental hygiene.
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and dental safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions
- Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
- Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
- Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments
- Teach good oral hygiene techniques
- Perform periodontal treatments when necessary
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies
