Union Family Dental is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will screen patients, perform cleanings, and assist dentists during exams and procedures.

The ideal candidate is state-licensed with 1–2 years of hygiene experience and can create a welcoming environment for patients. We value friendly, outgoing team members who are committed to delivering an excellent dental experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in dental hygiene from CODA-accredited program; bachelor’s or master’s in dental hygiene preferred.
• Current dental hygienist licensure and 1–2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and safety guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Prepare sterilized equipment and assist the dentist during exams and procedures.
• Take vital signs and record medical histories.
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
• Evaluate for gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments.
• Instruct patients on good oral hygiene techniques.
• Create dental impressions and take x-rays.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
