Job summary

82nd Drive Dental in Woodburn, Oregon is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will perform dental cleanings, screen patients, and assist dentists with exams and procedures.

The ideal candidate is state-licensed as an RDH with at least 2 years of experience, comfortable with SRP, nitrous oxide, anesthetic, cavitron use, and dental loupes.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist licensure
• At least 2 years of experience in dental hygiene
• Associate's Degree from CODA-accredited program (Bachelor's/Master's preferred)

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and ensure comfort
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions
• Prepare sterilized equipment for exams and procedures
• Take vital signs and record medical histories
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
• Evaluate for gum disease, cavities, and infection
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques
• Create dental impressions
• Take x-rays and be comfortable with Nomads
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams
• Adhere to health, safety regulations and office policies
