Timber Dental - Downtown is expanding its hygiene services and seeks a Registered Dental Hygienist to join a collaborative team in Downtown Portland. The role offers a part-time schedule with two days of work weekly, a base pay of $65 per hour plus commission, and opportunities to work at other locations.

The ideal candidate will have an active dental hygiene license, CPR/BLS certification, and a patient-centered approach to care within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing.
• Conduct periodontal charting and patient assessments.
• Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays).
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.
• Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Create a comfortable and positive patient experience.

Timber Dental - Downtown is expanding its services to include general dentistry and dental hygiene alongside our existing specialty care. We are excited to welcome a Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about patient-centered care and interested in being part of a collaborative, team-focused environment. Our assisted hygiene model allows hygienists to work alongside a dedicated dental assistant while managing two columns, creating an opportunity to provide efficient, high-quality care while building lasting relationships with patients. We offer a competitive compensation package with a guaranteed base pay of $65 per hour plus commission, providing both stability and earning potential.

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about preventative care, patient education, and building lasting relationships with patients. Key Responsibilities
