Position Summary: A Dental Hygienist works with our dentists to meet patients' oral health needs, including prophylaxis, oral cancer screenings, periodontal maintenance, and patient education, in compliance with our standards of care.

Key Competencies:

• Assess dental condition and needs using screening procedures
• Provide direct patient care and perform routine treatments
• Take radiographs and apply sealants/fluorides
• Maintain electronic records and document patient history
• Educate patients on oral health prevention
• Sterilize instruments and complete treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients and team
• Perform ancillary duties as needed

Requirements:

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to start by 7:45am
• Completed dental hygiene program or Associate's degree with current North Carolina license
• Ability to exercise judgment, teamwork, initiative, and confidentiality
• Ability to interpret instructions and work with attention to detail
