Hours/Shift: Full-Time (Mon-Thurs, 7:30 am-5:00 pm) Friday schedule varies per practice.

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing dental hygiene treatments and providing oral health education to our patients. Your primary goal will be to help patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough oral examinations of patients' teeth and gums to identify any oral health issues
• Clean and polish patients' teeth to remove plaque and calculus
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Apply sealants, fluoride, and other preventive treatments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Identify and educate patients on periodontal disease risk factors
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Stay up-to-date with advances in dental hygiene techniques

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of South Dakota
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, tools, and equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care
