Position Summary:

What we offer:

• $35/hr. or 32% of net production, whichever is higher. (The current average rate under the 32% of comp model is $42/hr.)
• Monday- Friday schedule

Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with the doctor to capture exam information for treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the front office team to ensure excellent patient care and meet revenue targets.
• Prepare patients for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping them.
• Provide information to patients and staff by answering questions and requests.
• Maintain instrumentation for dental hygiene by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments.
• Choose materials and equipment based on patient oral health evaluation.
• Perform dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins.
• Detect oral diseases through screenings, examinations, and radiographs.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care, including reminders of next visits.
• Document services by recording vital signs, histories, and charting in patient records.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years of experience as a hygienist preferred.
• Experience in selling dental hygiene products is a plus.
• Commitment to providing a world-class patient experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude.
