The Position

We are seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist for three days per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability. You will provide treatment to patients in various facilities, collaborating with the DDS, clinical coordinator, and staff to meet patient and facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Review patient lists and ensure all supplies and equipment are prepared.
• Arrive punctually, check in with the dental contact, and review the day's schedule.
• Transport and set up equipment in designated treatment rooms.
• Coordinate patient and chart transfers with facility staff; seek assistance if issues arise.
• Perform dental procedures including X-rays, cleaning, sealants, and assessment, following ADA standards.
• Explain procedures to patients and review recommendations with facility staff.
• Document treatment notes in Salesforce during or immediately after procedures.
• Maintain OSHA safety and cleanliness standards.
• Handle disposables properly and ensure equipment is maintained and inventory is managed.
• Use personal vehicle for transportation, adhering to safety and reimbursement policies.
• Remain available via cell phone during work hours and handle expenses responsibly.

Location & Requirements

This role covers a home market with travel up to a 3-hour radius, including overnight lodging if necessary. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and own reliable transportation. Requirements include a current RDH license, 5 years of experience, willingness to travel, and physical ability to lift and transport equipment and patients.
