Job Overview

Missouri Big Smiles, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist in Branson, MO and surrounding areas. This role involves providing dental care to underserved children at their schools, offering a unique alternative to traditional dental practices.

Work Environment & Schedule

Our program ends with the school day, with no nights or weekends required. The schedule typically runs from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., about 6-7 hours per day, allowing for a work-life balance suited for working parents or those seeking a diverse working environment.

Qualifications

• Active RDH license
• Experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel to schools across counties
• Excellent interpersonal skills with children and adults
• Current CPR (BLS) certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist with oral health management of patients
• Verify patient identity and document treatment
• Perform oral health assessments and review medical histories
• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, sealants, and fluoride treatments
• Assist dentists as directed
• Provide oral health education and counseling
• Document services accurately
• Travel daily to school sites
